Ripping the Fright Fantastique

So last night I made this. It was some serious Nom-ness.  We were at Costco and I saw these amazing blackberries (above) omg they were HUGE! The result?

It was even better than it looks, trust me on this. I served it with some Danish Vanilla Bean ice cream from a local creamery, but I'ma have to try PW's recipe for homemade ice cream very, very soon. 

So last night caelum_rainieri and I watched the Inauguration (which I'd tivo'd earlier) and I made one of his favorite meals. My famous pasta sauce and meatballs. Now these aren't just ANY meatballs, mind you. They're a little ball of heaven on a plate. Here's pics and how I made 'em:
